I know the amount in £'s not sure of the pence. i know the date the refund was done, i know it was late morning, i know which store. I phoned the helpline and they tell me the store cant find the refund without more info like the cat numbers for the items. I know roughly which ones it could be, it was a petrol lawnmower and a trimmer so its not like they have unlimited types.
They didnt have to refund as they told me that day but used discretion coz it was an unwanted gift we had bought for someone.
Surely people who lose gift cards etc or they end up damaged, surely if they know all the details as above, a stop can be placed and a new one issued. It is for almost £200 so we dont want to let it go.
What are our rights here?
To all who are slagging me off. All you needed to say was there is nothing to be done etc. Do you have to be cheeky?
To all you people who are so perfect that you never make such a mistake? Never accidently leave something in your pocket that goes in the washing machine?
Must be nice to be so perfect.
